A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ANNE

Anne’s students have described her as “dynamic,” “inspiring” and “knowledgeable.” Through her understanding of movement, breath and alignment, Anne teaches her students to develop their practice and self-awareness.

Each week, she gets your hands dirty (or sweaty!) with important lessons, helping you plant seeds of movement and action, cultivating conditions and habits for success. By the end of the series, new poses have blossomed, and you can hardly believe you’re responsible! YOGA IS A PRACTICE OF CONNECTION. IT IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE WITH YOURSELF.

Anne Weidinger began a consistent yoga practice after retiring from dance. She found yoga to be a personal practice to maintain flexibility and strength, and quiet the mind. Her yoga practice created space for self-inquiry, empowerment and acceptance on and off the mat. Anne believes yoga provides the transformational tools to live your life ON PURPOSE. Her role as a teacher is to empower her students to live their life to their fullest potential.

An experienced teacher, she draws on her dance and movement background and blends her knowledge of anatomy and bio-mechanics. She loves to sequence, and is known for teaching intelligent sequences in an approachable way. In addition to studio classes, Anne teaches workshops, private sessions, consults teachers, leads retreats and is a teacher trainer for teachers and aspiring teachers. She has a BFA from The Ohio State University. She is E-500YTT Registered through Yoga Alliance and is a Yoga Alliance Education Provider (YACEP).

Out of the yoga studio, you can find Anne cooking in the kitchen, out in her garden, or relaxing with friends and family. Yoga has taught Anne to find balance and purpose in her life. As her teachers have guided her, Anne aims to be a guide to her students on their yoga journey.
